How Arsenal could line up against Burnley

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Burnley.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is once again sweating over a handful of injury doubts for Saturday's Premier League clash with Burnley at Turf Moor.

A total of seven players were absent from last weekend's trip to West Ham United, where the merciless Gunners triumphed 6-0 for their biggest-ever away victory in the Premier League era.

Jurrien Timber (ACL), Thomas Partey (thigh) and Fabio Vieira (groin) are all guaranteed to miss Saturday's game too, while the availabilities of Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf), Takehiro Tomiyasu (knock), Gabriel Jesus (knee) and Emile Smith Rowe (ankle) are clouded in uncertainty.

With Zinchenko and Tomiyasu absent, Jakub Kiwior was given the nod at left-back once again for the meeting with West Ham, and having grown into the game after a shaky start, the Pole is poised to continue in his emergency position.

Goalscoring centre-backs William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes will no doubt join Kiwior in a familiar-looking rearguard, which will also comprise David Raya and Ben White as ever.

Jorginho was left on the bench against West Ham due to a knock, and despite his man-of-the-match display versus Liverpool two weekends ago, the Italian will likely be consigned to the dugout once again here as Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice and Kai Havertz link arms in the middle.

Bukayo Saka's first of two efforts at the London Stadium saw the Englishman become the youngest Arsenal player since Frank Stapleton in 1978 to net 50 goals for the Gunners, and the 22-year-old should complete an unchanged XI with Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli up top.

Arsenal possible starting lineup:
Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior; Odegaard, Rice, Havertz; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli body check tags ::
