AC Milan are reportedly hopeful of tempting Aaron Ramsey to join from Arsenal when he becomes a free agent at the end of the current campaign.
The Wales international has just nine months left to run on his existing terms and is free to speak to foreign teams from the New Year.
Ramsey is said to be holding out for a better deal from Arsenal, bringing him in line with the club's highest earners, and Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Rossoneri are keeping a close eye on the situation.
Milan are already close to bringing chief executive Ivan Gazidis to San Siro from Arsenal as part of an off-field restructure, and it is claimed that their pursuit of Ramsey could be boosted as a result.
A £5m signing from Cardiff City in 2008, the 27-year-old has made close to 350 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions.
