Arsenal are reportedly nearing an agreement with Sporting Lisbon for teenage attacker Tiago Tomas.
The 18-year-old has already made 25 first-team appearances for his Portuguese club during the 2020-21 campaign, contributing five goals and two assists in the process.
Tomas only signed a new long-term deal with Sporting last June, with the Portugal Under-19s international contracted to the Lisbon giants until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
However, according to The Sun, Arsenal are close to finalising a summer deal for Tomas, with the London club's technical director Edu in talks with Sporting director of football Hugo Viana.
The report claims that the Green and Whites are ready to accept an offer in the region of £20m due to the current economic climate, with the coronavirus outbreak causing financial problems across the world of football.
Tomas, who is capable of operating in a number of different forward positions, has scored twice and registered two assists in 18 league appearances this season.
