Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Piero Hincapie.
Since joining Leverkusen for around £5.5m in August 2021, the defender has made 42 appearances for the club, chipping in with two goals and one assist.
Although Hincapie signed a five-year deal upon his arrival in Germany, he is currently being linked with a move away from the Bundesliga side.
According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal are one of a number of teams that are weighing up a move for the centre-back, who is expected to command a £22m fee.
The Gunners could face competition from the likes of AC Milan, Napoli and Roma, who are all believed to be considering an approach.
Leverkusen are currently in the relegation zone after collecting five points from their eight league games, and there is a belief that a January departure could be appealing for Hincapie if the club's poor form continues.
