RB Leipzig are reportedly open to allowing Dayot Upamecano to leave the club during the January transfer window, which is likely to attract the attention of Arsenal.
The Gunners are allegedly firm admirers of the 21-year-old, although Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have also been credited with an interest in the central defender.
According to Le Parisien, Leipzig would be open to selling the Frenchman at the start of 2020 providing that they manage to secure a deal for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Tanguy Kouassi.
Upamecano, who missed the second half of the 2018-19 campaign with a knee injury, will reportedly see the release clause in his current deal drop to £53m ahead of next season.
Arsenal were believed to be interested in signing the France Under-21 international over the summer before ultimately moving for the experienced David Luiz before the deadline.
The capital outfit also secured the services of William Saliba ahead of the 2019-20 campaign before immediately loaning the 18-year-old back to Saint-Etienne.
