Arsenal manager Unai Emery has reportedly included Hector Bellerin on a list of "untouchable" players who must remain at the club.
The Spaniard's future at the Emirates Stadium was thrown into uncertainty following the summer arrival of Stephan Lichtensteiner but, according to The Mirror, the Swiss veteran will provide backup to Bellerin.
Emery's list of "untouchable" players is said to feature five names, with Granit Xhaka almost certain to be another of them given that he has signed a new contract.
Strikers Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are also likely to be included, along with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who joined the Gunners during the January transfer window.
Meanwhile, Emery is also said to be keen to tie Aaron Ramsey down to a new contract and is in ongoing talks with the Wales international.
