Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu has reportedly told the club that he wants to leave this summer, amid speculation linking him to Arsenal.
The Dutch outfit's sporting director Frank Arnesen revealed earlier this week that four clubs have registered an interest in the 19-year-old, who has established himself in the Feyenoord first team this season.
Sevilla were the only one of the interested parties namechecked by Arnesen, but Arsenal are also understood to be in the running for his signature.
The Daily Mail reports that the Gunners have now been handed a boost in their hopes of bringing him to the Emirates Stadium after the youngster told Feyenoord that he wants to leave.
The Eredivisie season has been declared null and void in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, meaning that Feyenoord will miss out on Champions League football next term having sat third when play was cancelled.
Kokcu made 35 appearances for the Rotterdam club in 2019-20, scoring three goals and creating six.
