Unai Emery will reportedly be given a budget of just £40m in the summer transfer window if Arsenal fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.
The Gunners missed out on a top-four finish in the Premier League but could still book a place in UEFA's showpiece competition by beating Chelsea in the Europa League final on May 29.
According to BBC Sport reporter David Ornstein, Emery will receive a large windfall to strengthen his squad ahead of his second campaign in charge at the Emirates Stadium if Arsenal come out on top in Baku.
However, defeat to the Blues and the Spaniard will have to make do with a 'significantly smaller' sum, ruling out any marquee signings unless other players are first sold.
Arsenal have been linked with the likes of Marcos Llorente, Eric Bailly, Nicolas Pepe and Ayoze Perez ahead of the opening of the transfer window later this month.
