Arsenal have reportedly identified three Barcelona players that they would be interested in signing, in exchange for strikers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
The Catalan club are keen to add new players in this summer's transfer window, despite president Joan Laporta revealing that the La Liga giants are a staggering £1.15bn in debt.
Mikel Arteta, meanwhile, is considering freshening up his attack before the window shuts on August 31, and is willing to sell club captain Aubameyang and Lacazette, who has less than 12 months remaining on his contract.
According to Sport, Barcelona are interested in signing both forwards from the Gunners and they will have funds to spend if they can offload striker Martin Braithwaite, midfielder Miralem Pjanic and defender Samuel Umtiti, who are all available for transfer.
However, Arsenal will only entertain an offer from Barca if they can recruit goalkeeper Neto, centre-back Clement Lenglet and playmaker Philippe Coutinho in exchange.
Aubameyang and Lacazette were absent from Arsenal's opening Premier League game against Brentford last Friday, with Arteta stating after the match that both players were "unwell". body check tags ::
