Arsenal are reportedly at the head of the queue for Real Betis attacker Nabil Fekir.

The 27-year-old has been an important player for his Spanish club during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring three times and contributing six assists in 30 La Liga appearances.

The Frenchman was strongly linked with Liverpool before joining Betis from Lyon, and a recent report claimed that the Reds were considering reigniting their interest in the attacker.

However, according to TuttoMercatoWeb, Arsenal are in pole position to sign Fekir during this summer's transfer window, with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta a keen admirer of his talents.

Fekir, who has more than two years left to run on his contract with Betis, has scored 10 times and registered 13 assists in 63 appearances for his current side in all competitions.

Arsenal are keen to sign on-loan Real Madrid attacker Martin Odegaard on a permanent deal this summer, but Los Blancos are allegedly preparing for him to return to the club at the end of the season. body check tags ::
