Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a £17.5m for Gent striker Jonathan David.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a stellar campaign in the Jupiler Pro League throughout the season, registering 18 goals and eight assists in 27 league matches.

Furthermore, the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang remains up in the air, with the Gabon international's contract at the Emirates set to expire next season with no renewal in sight.

According to Goal, a fee of £17.5m could tempt Gent into selling David, with his agent Nick Mavromaras admitting that Arsenal could be a potential destination for the next step of the striker's career.

The report also claims that Bundesliga sides Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have also expressed an interest in the forward, who has scored 11 times in 12 appearances for the Canadian national side.

David's current contract at Gent will expire in 2023. body check tags ::
