Arsenal 'new favourites for Thomas Lemar'

:Headline: Arsenal 'new favourites for Thomas Lemar':
Arsenal are reportedly regarded as the new favourites to sign Atletico Madrid winger Thomas Lemar, who has been linked with an exit from Wanda Metropolitano.

Arsenal have reportedly emerged as the new frontrunners to complete a deal for Atletico Madrid winger Thomas Lemar.

Since the beginning of the January transfer window, Lemar has been linked with a number of Premier League teams, including the Gunners, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Despite the France international allegedly being against a mid-season exit, Marca claims that Arsenal are still monitoring the situation.

The report suggests that Mikel Arteta's team have moved ahead of their English rivals in a bid to sign Lemar, either on a temporary or permanent basis.

Much could depend on a change of heart from the 24-year-old, who is yet to score or provide an assist in 21 outings this season.
