Arsenal are reportedly yet to make contact with Norwich City regarding a deal for midfielder Emiliano Buendia.
The Gunners are in the hunt for creative players and continue to be linked with the likes of Houssem Aouar and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in Buendia, who was a shining light in Norwich's dismal 2019-20 Premier League season, and the 23-year-old already boasts two goals and five assists in the current Championship campaign.
However, according to football.london, Arsenal have not made a formal approach for the Argentine, even though he is a player whom Mikel Arteta admires.
The report claims that Buendia is solely focused on helping the Canaries make an immediate return to the Premier League, but if Norwich were to entertain offers for the midfielder in January, Buendia would not rule out a move elsewhere.
Buendia is under contract at Norwich until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
