Arsenal 'offer Willian three-year contract'

:Headline: Arsenal 'offer Willian three-year contract':
Arsenal reportedly offer a three-year contract to Willian, who appears increasingly likely to leave Chelsea on a free transfer.

Arsenal have reportedly upped their efforts to sign Willian by offering the Chelsea winger a three-year contract.

With the Blues only willing to hand the long-serving playmaker a deal until 2022, it appears increasingly likely that the 31-year-old will depart Stamford Bridge.

Willian's preference is to remain in London, which has inevitably led to interest from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to France Football, the Gunners have presented the biggest offer to his representatives, leaving them as favourites to get a deal over the line.

The report claims that talks are "very advanced", with the only potential stumbling block being Willian's desire to have the option of extending his contract until 2024.

Willian has sat out Chelsea's last two matches, the second of which was against Arsenal in the FA Cup final on Saturday evening. body check tags ::
