Arsenal have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Willian on a free transfer when his Chelsea contract expires at the end of this season.
The 31-year-old has so far been unable to agree an extension to his terms at Stamford Bridge, with the player and club at odds over the length of any new deal.
Reports earlier this week claimed that Arsenal had moved to the head of the queue for his signature, leapfrogging the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan.
The Mirror claims that Willian's agent Kia Joorabchian has now offered the winger to Arsenal as a possible replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang's own contract expires next summer and Arsenal are understood to be considering cashing in on their skipper rather than giving in to his wage demands.
The Gabon international has been reported to want as much as £350,000 a week at the Emirates Stadium, whereas Willian is after a three-year deal worth £120,000 per week.
Joorabchian is also the agent for Arsenal's technical director Edu, while he negotiated deals to take David Luiz and Cedric Soares to the club in recent windows.
The Gunners are thought to hold another advantage in the battle for Willian's signature, with the Brazilian preferring to remain in London.
