Arsenal are reportedly open to loaning winger Nicolas Pepe on transfer deadline day.
The 26-year-old is yet to have hit the heights expected at the Emirates Stadium since his £72m transfer from Lille in the summer of 2019.
Pepe has started just five Premier League games this season, failing to score and registering just one assist, and has only made a total of 12 appearances across all competitions.
According to 90min, Mikel Arteta would consider letting the Ivory Coast international leave the club if a suitable offer was received in the final hours of the window.
The report adds that an unnamed Spanish club are confident they can sign Pepe before the deadline, while teams in France and Germany have also registered their interest.
Pepe, who has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, could be the second Arsenal forward to depart, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang edging closer to joining Barcelona on loan, after arriving in the city to undergo his medical.
Eddie Nketiah is also understood to be attracting interest from a host of clubs, but Arteta is looking to keep the Englishman and provide him with first-team football. body check tags ::
