Arsenal are understood to be considering an £8.5m summer bid for Atletico Madrid striker Adrian Lopez.
The Gunners were linked with the 25-year-old Spaniard during the January transfer window.
However, they could now make a serious offer for the forward at the end of the season, according to The Express.
Lopez, who has also attracted interest from Southampton, has scored three goals in all competitions this season.
