Arsenal are reportedly keen to win the race for Barcelona defender Marc Cucurella during the summer transfer window.
Soon after signing the left-sided player last year, Barcelona allowed the 21-year-old to link up with Getafe, where he has made 24 outings in La Liga.
While Cucurella could return to Camp Nou later in 2020, a release clause in the region of £21m makes him an attractive target for numerous clubs around Europe.
According to Sport Witness, the Gunners are willing to pay the required fee in a bid to fend off the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla.
Getafe are said to have plans to push through a deal for Cucurella, although much could depend on whether they secure a place in next season's Champions League.
