Arsenal are reportedly keeping a close eye on the development of Red Bull Salzburg forward Hwang Hee-chan.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form for Salzburg during the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign, scoring seven times and providing 10 assists in 11 appearances in all competitions.
Hwang was on the scoresheet in his team's 4-3 defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League earlier this month, making it two goals in as many appearances in the competition this term.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have been scouting the attacker this season, and the London club could decide to launch a bid next summer when the South Korea international is widely expected to move on.
The report suggests that the Gunners could face widespread competition, though, with 'scouts from major European leagues' also carefully monitoring Hwang's displays.
The forward has managed 36 goals in 97 outings for his Austrian club since arriving in 2015.
