Arsenal have reportedly been left facing a struggle to secure a second loan deal before the end of the January transfer window.
The Gunners have confirmed the temporary transfer of Denis Suarez from Barcelona, but Unai Emery remains keen to further strengthen his squad.
However, failed moves for Yannick Carrasco and Ivan Perisic have left Emery short of his desired number on the flanks, and according to the London Evening Standard, a deal for Paris Saint-Germain's Christopher Nkunku is in doubt.
PSG are allegedly only prepared to part ways with Nkunku if they are able to bring in a replacement, but Everton have rejected their bid for Idrissa Gueye.
No more possible additions have emerged, but Emery may need to look elsewhere with Emile Smith Rowe also leaving the North London outfit in order to link up with RB Leipzig on loan.
