Arsenal will reportedly hold talks with Ever Banega's agent this week over a potential transfer for the midfielder to the Emirates Stadium.
Sevilla midfielder Banega is allegedly the next target for Gunners boss Unai Emery, who has already brought in full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner and goalkeeper Bernd Leno from Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen respectively.
According to The Mirror, Banega's representatives are to meet with Arsenal chiefs this week to thrash out a potential agreement for the player.
Argentina international Banega, who is currently at the World Cup, featured in his side's 1-1 draw with Iceland on Saturday.
The 29-year-old joined Sevilla four years ago, before returning to his current employers last summer following a spell with Inter Milan.
