Arsenal have reportedly identified Barcelona defender Sergino Dest as a potential transfer target for 2022.

Despite making 57 appearances for the Catalan giants in all competitions over the past 18 months, the 21-year-old has allegedly been made available for transfer.

With Barcelona open to offers due to their ongoing financial issues, the United States international has no shortage of admirers ahead of the upcoming windows.

According to NBC Sports, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is an admirer of the player and is prepared to consider making an approach.

Although the Gunners are well stocked for options down the right-hand side, they may be prepared to part ways with one of their backup options to accommodate Dest.

Chelsea and Bayern Munich are also said to be monitoring the situation with bids potentially being prepared for the turn of the year.
