Arsenal will reportedly offer Carl Jenkinson an improved contract then loan him out to West Ham United.
The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Upton Park, and it is thought that the Hammers want to re-sign him on a permanent basis.
The right-back has three years remaining on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium, but it has been suggested that Arsenal want to fend off interest in the player.
According to London24, Arsenal will hand Jenkinson a pay rise and extended contract before loaning him to West Ham.
The England Under-21 man, who has also been linked with Sunderland, Southampton and Everton, made 32 Premier League appearances for West Ham last term.
