Arsenal will reportedly make a £30m bid for Wolfsburg attacker Julian Draxler during the January transfer window.
Draxler is expected to leave Wolfsburg when the window reopens, having endured a difficult season at the relegation-threatened club so far.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is known to have a long-standing interest in the Germany international, and The Express reports that he will look to entice the player to the Emirates Stadium with a £30m bid.
Wolfsburg, who currently sit just one point clear of the relegation playoff place in the Bundesliga table, are understood to be open to selling Draxler for as little as £25m.
The Gunners have also been given a boost in their pursuit of the 23-year-old after Italian champions Juventus withdrew their interest.
However, the likes of Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the playmaker, with Draxler himself reported to prefer a move to PSG ahead of Arsenal.
