Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Arsenal.
Petr Cech is currently considered to be the number one at the Gunners, but the 35-year-old has made a number of mistakes during this season and it has allegedly led to Arsene Wenger contemplating a change.
According to the London Evening Standard, the Frenchman may make a move for Atletico stopper Oblak, who has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in La Liga.
Since moving to Spain's capital in 2014, the 25-year-old has made a total of 140 appearances in all competitions and the Slovenian's displays led to Diego Simeone handing him a contract until 2021.
Atletico remain in a strong position regarding Oblak's future, but Arsenal are likely to be prepared to spend big in order to help find a solution to their defensive problems.
