Arsenal could reportedly have to pay £6m if they wish to sign Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa before the end of the January transfer window.
The Gunners, who have lost Calum Chambers for the remainder of the season due to a serious knee injury, are allegedly in discussions with the left-back over a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Kurzawa will see his current deal in Paris expire in June, meaning that he is free to sign a pre-contract with Mikel Arteta's side before arriving at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
However, according to L'Equipe, the Premier League club are keen to complete a deal this month and have been told that they will have to pay between £4.2m and £6m to convince PSG to sanction a sale.
Arsenal are unlikely to have a clear run at the Frenchman, though, with Italian giants AC Milan also believed to be closely monitoring developments.
Kurzawa - capped on 13 occasions by France - has made 14 appearances for PSG during the current season but has only started one of his team's five Ligue 1 fixtures.
