Arsenal are reportedly set to try once again to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Christopher Nkunku this summer.

Since joining RB Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain in July 2019 for €15m (£12.8m), Nkunku has played 75 games for the German outfit scoring 12 goals and assisting 24.

The 23-year-old is naturally a midfielder yet has shown his versatility this season, having been used on the wing, up-front and in the number 10 position.

The Mirror reports that Nkunku is one of Mikel Arteta's several key targets, as the manager looks to strengthen his Arsenal side this summer.

The Gunners have previously been linked with the midfielder, and saw a move fall through during Unai Emery's time in charge in 2018.

Nkunku is yet to make his senior French international debut after representing his country six times for the Under-21s.
