Arsenal have reportedly decided to re-enter the race to sign Leicester City playmaker Riyad Mahrez.
During the summer, Arsenal were one of a number of clubs interested in Mahrez, who was keen to leave the King Power Stadium in order to take on a new challenge.
The Algerian international eventually remained with the Foxes but according to Le Buteur, the Gunners are ready to launch another approach for the 26-year-old.
Mahrez has contributed six goals and five assists in 20 Premier League appearances this season, and Claude Puel is unlikely to want to sell the club's most prized asset.
However, while Mahrez still has two and a half years remaining on his contract, the midfielder is unlikely to show any willingness to pen a new deal and Leicester will consider any realistic bids.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is looking at potential replacements for Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, who have just six months left on their existing deals.
