Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined North London rivals Arsenal in the hunt to sign Lyon star Houssem Aouar.

The one-cap France international is a long-term target for the Gunners, with Mikel Arteta said to be a big fan of the midfielder.

However, The Mirror reports that Aouar has now been added to Tottenham's list of summer targets by new director of football Fabio Paratici.

Lyon are believed to be ready to cash in on the 22-year-old, meaning that it could come down to which side offers the most money.

Aouar featured 30 times for Les Gones in Ligue 1 last season, scoring seven goals and assisting three more.
