Despite recent comments from manager Ruben Amorim, there is little to suggest that Manchester United's Marcus Rashford will be involved in the squad that will face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux in the Premier League on Boxing Day.
The new United boss refuses to rule out Rashford having a part in the next matchday squad, but the reality is that it is unlikely he will be seen in a Man United shirt again.
Alejandro Garnacho was also left out when Rashford was first dropped, ahead of the Manchester derby, but he has since returned and was even an early second-half substitute against Bournemouth on Sunday.
The one attacking alteration could be up front though, with Amorim continuously switching between Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
Zirkzee started against Bournemouth to little effect, and his only goals since the opening day remain the double he notched against Everton, but Hojlund's record is even worse, with just two Premier League goals to his name so far.
Mason Mount has broken down with another injury and is set for a spell on the sidelines, but the biggest problems facing Amorim come in defence ahead of this, especially after another dismal display at Old Trafford last time out.
Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw are definitely out, while Matthijs de Ligt is doubt due to illness, but Tyrell Malacia also had a very difficult afternoon against Bournemouth and had to be taken off.
Leny Yoro was his replacement, but the summer signing is also struggling to adjust to Premier League football after a lengthy absence to start the season.
Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot are expected to be the starting wing-backs though, meaning even Jonny Evans could be drafted in if De Ligt is not ready and Yoro is left on the bench.
Manchester United possible starting lineup:
Onana; De Ligt, Maguire, Martinez; Mazraoui, Ugarte, Mainoo, Dalot; Amad, Hojlund, Fernandes
