Arsenal are allegedly interested in re-signing former academy product Glen Kamara from Rangers.
The 25-year-old spent five years in the youth ranks at Arsenal between 2012 and 2017, making one first-team appearance against Sheffield Wednesday in the EFL Cup.
Kamara proceeded to spend time on at Southend United and Colchester United before heading north to Dundee, and he has since become an integral player for recently-crowned Scottish champions Rangers.
According to Football Insider, Arsenal are in the market for a new midfield lynchpin this summer, and they are hopeful of persuading Kamara to join on a five-year deal.
However, the report adds that Steven Gerrard is keen to extend the midfielder's Rangers contract, with his existing deal at Ibrox set to expire in 2023.
Kamara has made 49 appearances across all competitions for Rangers this season, scoring two goals and assisting two more.
