Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly joined the race to sign Porto midfielder Hector Herrera.
The 28-year-old is currently in his sixth season with the Portuguese giants, but the Mexico international has just six months remaining on his contract.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, that has resulted in widespread interest in the player, with both Arsenal and Wolves monitoring the situation.
The Gunners will eventually require a replacement for Aaron Ramsey, while Wolves are likely to be looking to add more international experience to their squad over the next two transfer windows.
However, the report suggests that Inter Milan, Roma, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are also admirers of Herrera and are expected to make an approach.
Herrera have scored three times in 22 outings in Portugal's top flight and the Champions League this season.
