Arsenal were among the busiest clubs in the 2022 January transfer window, although not necessarily in the manner that fans would have hoped.
The Gunners offloaded no fewer than 14 players in total - more than any other club in the Premier League - while the only person to move in the opposite direction was defender Auston Trusty, who himself then left to spend the rest of the season on loan at Colorado Rapids.
While many of the players who left were youngsters, there were also a number of first-teamers who departed, leaving Mikel Arteta short of squad depth for the second half of the campaign.
The highest profile departure was undoubtedly Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, whose relationship with Arteta had soured to such an extent that Arsenal allowed him to leave the club on a free transfer to Barcelona on deadline day.
The likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Calum Chambers, Pablo Mari and Sead Kolasinac also left to deplete Arsenal's defensive ranks, while Folarin Balogun's departure leaves the Gunners short in attack too.
Despite letting so many players leave and only bringing in one new face, Arsenal still made a loss during the January window, with Aubameyang, Chambers and Kolasinac all leaving on free transfers.
Below, Sports Mole rounds up all of the business conducted by Arsenal during the January window.
