Barcelona have reportedly submitted a bid to Arsenal for midfielder Alex Song.
The Cameroon international has been heavily linked with a switch to the Spanish club this summer, despite the insistence of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger that he will be staying put.
Now, Barca coach Tito Vilanova has tested Wenger's resolve by making an offer in the region of £12m, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
Song, 24, joined the Gunners in 2005 from French club Bastia.
