Barcelona will reportedly target Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if they are unsuccessful in signing Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan this summer.
The Spanish champions continue to be linked with a move for Martinez, but Inter are allegedly not prepared to sell the Argentina international unless his release clause - thought to be close to £100m - is met.
According to the Daily Mail, the South American is still top of the Catalan outfit's list of targets, but Aubameyang is viewed as a cheaper alternative ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
The report claims that Quique Setien's side are keeping a close eye on the Gabon international's situation at the Emirates Stadium as they weigh up a potential move.
The 30-year-old has been in excellent form for the Gunners during the 2019-20 season, scoring 20 times in 32 appearances in all competitions, including 17 strikes in the Premier League.
The forward's contract with Mikel Arteta's side is due to expire next June, though, and it is thought that he could seek pastures new during this summer's transfer window.
