Bayern Munich have reportedly entered the race to sign Dalian Yifang winger and rumoured Arsenal transfer target Yannick Carrasco this summer.
The 25-year-old has made no secret of his desire to return to Europe after less than 18 months in China, having failed to adapt to life in the country.
Arsenal are considered the frontrunners for Carrasco's signature, with some reports even suggesting that they have already agreed personal terms over a move before the start of the 2019-20 season.
However, Bild claims that Bayern could yet hijack the deal after identifying Carrasco as a possible alternative to other transfer targets.
The German champions have been been heavily linked with bids for Callum Hudson-Odoi and Leroy Sane, but Hudson-Odoi looks increasingly likely to sign a new contract at Chelsea, while Bayern have been put off by Manchester City's asking price for Sane.
Carrasco would be available for just £25m and is willing to lower his wage demands in order to secure a switch back to Europe.
Bayern, who are in the market for a new winger having seen both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery leave the club this summer, have also been credited with an interest in Lille's Nicolas Pepe.
