Liverpool boss Arne Slot has made two changes to his side's starting lineup for their Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers, as Diogo Jota starts against his old club.
The Reds are bidding for a swift return to winning ways after Wednesday's 2-2 Merseyside derby draw with Everton, where Dutch attacker Cody Gakpo picked up a knock in the second half.
Gakpo's injury has rendered him unavailable for the visit of Vitor Pereira's side, and Slot has sided with ex-Wolves striker Jota over Darwin Nunez to replace the former PSV Eindhoven man in the attack.
Jota for Gakpo is one of two alterations that Slot has made to his starting lineup, as Trent Alexander-Arnold - making his 250th Premier League appearance - has unsurprisingly replaced Conor Bradley at right-back after coming off the bench at Goodison Park.
Meanwhile, Wolves boss Pereira has made five alterations to the team that defeated Blackburn Rovers 2-0 in the FA Cup last weekend, as Jose Sa, Matt Doherty, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Andre and Pablo Sarabia come back into the XI.
Both Hwang Hee-chan and Jorgen Strand Larsen are absent due to injury, so Matheus Cunha is expected to act as the focal point of the attack with support from Sarabia and Goncalo Guedes.
Liverpool will move seven points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table with a win, while a shock success for Wolves would take them five points above the relegation zone.
