Brentford attacker Said Benrahma has reportedly failed a medical at West Ham United, placing a move to the Hammers in severe doubt ahead of the EFL transfer deadline.
West Ham have been strongly linked with a move for the Algeria international in recent days and are believed to have agreed a £25m fee with the Bees for his services.
However, according to The Mirror, Benrahma has failed his medical with David Moyes's side, who now face a battle against the clock to keep the move alive.
"Nothing has been done yet. Conversations are ongoing," the newspaper quotes a Brentford source as saying.
The 25-year-old, who was linked with Arsenal and Chelsea earlier this summer, has scored twice in three appearances for his Championship club during the 2020-21 campaign.
West Ham only have until 5pm on Friday to complete a deal for the versatile attacker.
