Hull City manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that the club are interested in signing Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo on loan.
Sanogo is expected to leave the Emirates Stadium this month, with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger keen for him to find regular football in the Premier League.
Bruce told reporters that he is hoping to make "one or two" signings this month, and said that he spoke to Wenger after they played each other in the FA Cup third round last weekend.
"I spoke with Arsene Wenger after the game and we're constantly on to the big clubs. That includes Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea. They've got so many players out on loan that if you could nab one of their players for a few months then it's usually not a bad thing to do," he said.
"Sanogo is a very good player. I like him a lot and it may be an option for us. I don't think we're alone in that one."
Sanogo has made six appearances for the Gunners this season and has scored one goal.
