Celtic reportedly only received one formal approach to sign in-demand striker Odsonne Edouard during the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old was heavily linked with a move away from the Scottish champions following another prolific season which saw him score 22 times in 27 league games.
A number of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Leicester City and Aston Villa, were among those credited with an interest in Edouard.
However, The Athletic reports that Celtic only received one written offer for the striker, with that thought to have come from a club in Germany.
Edouard ultimately stayed at Celtic Park and has quickly picked up where he left off on the goalscoring front, netting six times in 10 appearances so far this season.
Celtic were reportedly demanding £40m for the Frenchman's signature - an asking price none of his potential suitors were willing to meet.
