Arsenal have confirmed that defender Calum Chambers has joined the club from Southampton.
The 19-year-old has penned a "long-term contract" with the Gunners for an undisclosed fee that is believed to be in the region of £16m.
A product of Southampton's youth academy, Chambers is the third player to join Arsenal this summer following the arrivals of Alexis Sanchez and David Ospina.
"I am so happy to be signing for Arsenal. They are a team I have much admired for their playing style, and a team who have been one of the top sides in Europe for many years," he told his new club's official website.
"I'm looking forward to joining up with my new teammates today (Monday) and beginning preparation for the season ahead.
"I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone at Southampton FC for everything they have done for me and for making this move possible."
Chambers made 24 appearances in all competitions for Southampton last season.
