Wolfsburg winger Julian Draxler will reportedly "never play for the club again" amid speculation that he could be sold to long-term admirers Arsenal next month.
The 23-year-old, who joined Wolves on a five-year deal in August 2015, has given a number of media interviews in recent days indicating that he is keen to depart the Bundesliga outfit after being booed by his own fans.
According to German publication Sport Buzzer, Wolfsburg head coach Valerien Ismael has now decided to drop Draxler from the first team's remaining fixtures before the winter break, prompting rumours that he has already played his final game in a Wolfsburg shirt.
After refusing to sell him during the summer transfer window, Wolfsburg are now said to be willing to entertain offers of around £30m when the window opens for business in a few weeks' time.
That news is said to have reignited interest from Arsenal, who had a reported bid of £43m turned down just four months ago.
