Arsenal manager Unai Emery is reportedly desperate to keep Aaron Ramsey at the Emirates Stadium this month, rather than cash in on the soon-to-be free agent.
The Wales international is believed to have picked Juventus as his next club after holding initial talks with the Italian giants over a summer switch earlier this week.
Ramsey is free to discuss terms with overseas sides after entering the final six months of his Arsenal deal, with Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Real Madrid also said to be eyeing up the long-serving Gunners ace.
Arsenal, who pulled out of contract talks with the 28-year-old three months ago, also have the option of selling him before the end of January for a small fee.
The London Evening Standard suggests that Juventus would be willing to send Sami Khedira to North London as part of a deal to land Ramsey early, but Emery is said to be against the idea.
Emery is not in control of transfer negotiations at Arsenal, however, as Raul Sanllehi, Vinai Venkatesham and Sven Mislintat are now the key figures behind the scenes.
