Arsenal have reportedly decided to boost Unai Emery's transfer funds ahead of the summer window.
Earlier this week, Emery was confirmed as the replacement for Arsene Wenger and it had been widely reported that the Spaniard would only be given £50m to spend ahead of next season.
However, according to The Telegraph, the Gunners board have already indicated that they are willing to provide an extra £20m to boost Emery's efforts in the market.
The report comes at a time when Arsenal are being linked with a move for free agent Stephan Lichtsteiner, who is to leave Juventus this summer.
Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in Borussia Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulous and Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini.
