Everton have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere on a free transfer in the summer.
The 26-year-old's current deal at the Emirates Stadium expires at the end of the season, and negotiations to extend his stay have reached an impasse over suggestions of a pay cut.
Arsenal are thought to be willing to let Wilshere move on for nothing should an agreement not be reached and, according to The Mirror, Sam Allardyce is monitoring the situation.
The report claims that the England international would get a big signing-on fee at Goodison Park, as well as wages higher than the £90,000-a-week currently being offered by Arsenal.
Wilshere is also believed to be on the radar of Italian trio AC Milan, Juventus and Sampdoria.
