Fenerbahce manager Erol Bulut has refused to rule out the signing of Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil this month.
The 32-year-old is understood to be on the brink of a departure from the Emirates after being frozen out of Mikel Arteta's squad in the 2020-21 campaign.
Ozil has reportedly agreed a three-and-a-half year deal with Turkish giants Fenerbahce, but manager Bulut has remained over the speculation.
Speaking to beIN sports, Bulut said: "Mesut Ozil's situation will become clear in the coming days. Mesut's name is very common. It is not possible for me to make a comment before he comes."
Ozil has amassed 44 goals and 77 assists for Arsenal since arriving from Real Madrid in 2013, but the ex-Germany international has not played since before the coronavirus-enforced shutdown in March.
Emile Smith Rowe has impressed in Ozil's familiar number 10 role recently, but the Gunners continue to be linked with Emiliano Buendia and Julian Brandt as potential replacements.
