Fenerbahce playmaker Mesut Ozil is considering a move to a club in either the MLS or Qatar, according to a report.
The 32-year-old only joined the Turkish giants in January, following a six-and-a-half-year spell with Arsenal.
However, AS reports that Ozil is concerned that he has been replaced in the starting lineup by 20-year-old Muhammet Gumuskaya, who is seemingly preferred by Fenerbahce head coach Vitor Pereira.
Ozil, who still has three years remaining on his contract, is believed be open to the idea of playing the latter years of his career in either the MLS or Qatar, where he would be considered as one of the league's best players.
The German international went to visit Qatar earlier this week and met with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamed Al Sani, who gave the playmaker a tour of many sports facilities in the country.
Ozil has made just 15 appearances for Fenerbahce across all competitions, scoring just one goal and providing two assists. body check tags ::
