Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus would reportedly prefer to join Real Madrid over Arsenal this summer.
The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium following the arrivals of attackers Erling Braut Haaland and Julian Alvarez.
Arsenal have emerged as the frontrunners to recruit Jesus this summer, with one report claiming that the Gunners are preparing to offer the Brazil international a contract worth £190,000 per week.
However, Spanish news outlet La Cadena Ser claims that Jesus would prefer to make a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu over joining Mikel Arteta's side.
Real Madrid are believed to have been offered the chance to sign Jesus this summer by Man City, and they are interested in bringing the forward to the Spanish capital after missing out on Kylian Mbappe.
However, the report adds that Los Blancos would not be able to sign Jesus until compatriot Vinicius Junior is granted a Spanish passport as the La Liga and Champions League winners currently have the maximum number of non-European players in their first-team squad.
Jesus, who has also been linked with London duo Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, is allegedly valued at £43m by Man City and has only a year remaining on his contract. body check tags ::
