Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi 'has not handed in transfer request'

:Headline: Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi 'has not handed in transfer request':
Out-of-favour midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is yet to hand in a transfer request at Arsenal, according to a report.

Arsenal are reportedly yet to receive an official transfer request from midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.

After a show of ill-discipline against Brighton & Hove Albion and later behind the scenes, the Frenchman has fallen out of favour with boss Mikel Arteta.

As the Gunners look to bring in at least one new midfielder, they are open to parting ways with the 21-year-old for the right price.

However, the Evening Standard says that Guendouzi is yet to formally hand in a request to depart the Premier League outfit.

The player has not made an appearance for Arsenal since his petulance at the Amex Stadium, a game which took place on June 20.

Guendouzi still has just under two years remaining on his contract.
