Erling Braut Haaland would reportedly demand to play alongside Norway teammate Martin Odegaard if he completes a move to Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
The Borussia Dortmund forward's future remains a major talking point, and his agent Mino Raiola and father Alf-Inge Haaland have already touched base with Real Madrid and Barcelona to discuss possible plans.
Los Blancos are understood to be one of the favourites to sign the 20-year-old this summer, although they will inevitably face competition from Premier League sides, and Haaland reportedly wants a certain condition to be met if he is to ply his trade in Madrid.
According to Spanish radio station Onda Cero, Haaland is desperate to line up alongside compatriot Odegaard at the Bernabeu, and he wants assurances that the playmaker will start regularly for Zinedine Zidane's side.
Odegaard has impressed on loan at Arsenal and has unsurprisingly been linked with a permanent move to North London, but the 22-year-old's reported £300m release clause could hinder the Gunners' attempts to sign him this summer.
However, a recent report suggested that the La Liga champions were indeed open to selling Odegaard, with the former Stromsgodset starlet failing to win the faith of Zidane so far. body check tags ::
